My teaching philosophy is centred on creating an engaging, supportive and inclusive environment where every student can succeed. I believe students learn French best when they actively use the language in meaningful and practical situations. I focus on developing the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. I also place strong emphasis on grammar and vocabulary as the foundation for effective communication. I regularly assess students to identify their strengths, weaknesses and areas requiring improvement. I adapt my teaching strategies and activities to meet the different learning needs and abilities of my students. I use targeted practice, revision and individual support to help students overcome their challenges. A key achievement has been preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE French and supporting their progress towards examination success. I encourage students to build confidence, participate actively and learn from their mistakes. My ultimate goal is to develop confident, independent French learners who can communicate effectively and achieve their full potential.

Experienced secondary English Language and literature teacher with over nine years of classroom practice. Michaela Adubea Danquah is a BSc Laboratory Technology graduate from the University of Cape Coast. Currently serving as a National Service Personnel at the Department of Laboratory Technology, where I co-deliver online and in-person lectures in Microbiology and Soil Science. During my SHS education I also served as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Adonten Senior High School, Aburi. This experience trained me in the art of simplifying complex topics for my peers to understand. Thus, my teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, relatable lessons. Drawing from my experience in clinical and water-quality laboratories, I use daily life examples, case studies, and virtual demonstrations to make learning engaging and applicable. I also mentor students and builds their understanding, competence, and confidence in science to prepare them for academic success and careers in research and industry.
